Just done the build up today for Quilts UK at the Three Counties showground at Malvern. My stand is looking good and I’m now ready for a relaxing glass of something at The Hanley Swan public house.
I hope to see as many of you as possible and don’t forget that when you visit my stand if you give me your name and address you will be entered into my free giveaway the prize this time is a selection of Clover yo yo makers.
Good luck and don’t forget you’ve got to be in it to win it!
I have had a really interesting evening this evening; I went to a meeting at The Folly in Settle where about 50 people such as Settle business owners and quite a few other interested parties met to be told about a new Settle App’ it sounds brilliant. Once it is launched you would download it free on your i phone and it will contain all the information you need to get the most out of your visit to Settle. It will show you walks including maps which highlight where you are and points of interest along the way. There will be a photo gallery and pages which group together all the things that you are particularly interested in. What an inspired use of technology, I for one will be advertising on it.
Anyway for now I best finish packing my suitcase ready to set of to Quilts Uk Malvern in the morning.
In last Sunday’s post I was having a think about what goodies I should giveaway at Quilts UK Three Counties Showground, Malvern in May. I’m being a bit bold (or possibly crackers) but I’m thinking about giving away a Pfaff Passport 2.0 what do you think? I’m thinking that when you spend £xx you will be entered into the draw. The quandry is how much should £xx be? Anyone got any realistic ideas? If so would you send me your comments.
The Passport 2.0 is the nifty new machine from Pfaff with all the great features of the big, really expensive quilting machines but is handy enough to take to classes. It is super dooper!
As my friend Marie would say “Oh my life!”
Having been at a few quilt shows recently, I decided that I would empty the van today, to take stock of what needs topping up, replacing etc, ready for Quilts UK at the Three Counties Show Ground, Malvern. The show will be Thurs 16th to Sunday 19th May 2013. Having done that I am now sat here thinking…where do I start? Hummmm…we’ve got classes on in the shop this week so I better get my thinking cap on quick! Which reminds me, a lovely lady called Erica called in today and signed up for Denise’s beginners sampler quilt course , welcome Erica I hope you will be very happy here, so this means that we now only have one place remaining in the class.
I forgot to mention above, that I will of course be continuing with my free giveaway’s at the shows and the details of how you can enter will be posted on here nearer the time. I need more time to ponder what the prize will be this time.
