How beautiful is this? Another amazing piece by Twiddly Tracy.
Tracy will be teaching all the skills you need to make this wall hanging here at Quilting Antics on Friday 12th July. You will learn how to ‘paint’ a picture with thread and then use raw edge applique to decorate it; as opposed to decorating your applique with quilting stitches. It will be a really good grounding for anyone who has fancied learning how to do free machining but never had the confidence.
Other things on the agenda this week. I will be setting off on Wednesday to Sandown Racecourse for the quilt show down there and of course there will be a free giveaway open only to my blog readers. If you bring me your name and address to the stand you will be entered into my prize draw, the lucky winner will receive a four fat quarters from Lynette Anderson’s now range Wildflower Wood. It’s as simple as that!
As if things aren’t hectic enough this week we will be giving away a second fat quarter pack to one lucky blog reader in our other free giveaway at Furness and Shoreline Quilters Quilt Show at Cartmel Village Hall LA11 6QB where we will also have a stand, manned or should I say womaned by Diz and wise Owl. So don’t forget to drop your name and address off with them if you go to that show. It promises to be a belting good show, I have visited Shoreline Quilters and they are an incredibly talented group of ladies.
