Parbold Quilt Group

Image

I have taken a van load of my £6 a metre fabric to Michaela’s quilt group at Parbold today; it’s just off the M6 in Lancashire. Below is a slideshow of photos I snapped whilst I was there.  Many of the pics are of Linda’s beginners sampler quilt which was being layered up today. I felt a swell of pride as much of the fabric had been bought courtesy of Quilting Antics. Linda your quilt is beautiful x.

Michaela is a wonderful teacher who explains everything so well and never makes you feel patronised. Her knowledge of patchwork and quilting is immense and as she is a teacher by trade her lessons are a privilege to attend. In fact I love the whole group, there were so many giggles with the girls. It is a joy to feel so welcomed at a group.

If you are interested in joining Michaela’s group you can leave a comment on her blog onegingertom.wordpress.com and she will get back to you.
