Next stage on your quilting journey…

Judith intermediate quilt
My very good friend Judith called into the shop today. Judith is going to start teaching her intermediate sampler quilt course for me. It is the next stage for people who have completed their first sampler quilt and are now ready to move their skills forward.
Where beginners sampler quilts, except for the fabric choices, can all tend to look similar to the teachers sample; on this intermediate course every student should finish with a unique quilt which looks completely different to all the other students quilts.
Today Judith showed me her book of samples which she will use to teach the class, it is amazing, I am sure people are not going to be disappointed. Judith will cover topics such as ruching, using twin needles, fabric weaving and folding, embellishing, chenille, altering fabric designs, patterning fabric using stitch and much much more.

If you are interested in joining the class which starts on Saturday 9th March and runs fortnightly for 7 sessions, let me know either via this blog, by e mailing quilting-antics@hotmail.co.uk or by ringing the shop on 01729 824708
